2008 Überlist
Last year I was ridiculously lax with my Überlist accomplishments. But that’s okay — the Überlist is simply a list of aspirations, not resolutions. For me, this is a year of high expectations and high hopes. Top on the list is travel. Second is writing work. Third is pretty much grow out my hair (making it’s annual appearance!). This list is not yet complete and will be added to throughout the rest of the month.

Health/Beauty
- Grow out my hair (no coloring or other chemicals). Holdover from last year, but I’m doing good. I haven’t touched it since October 2007.
Eat fresh, and when possible, local— Gone mostly pescetarian.- Quit saying it and actually run a race
Tour de Houston, 70-miler, if you’re tough enough— I did 40 miles in about 3 hours.
Personal
- Extend my vocabulary
- Write a will
- Be more mindful
- Practice random acts of kindness towards strangers
- Drive the car as little as possible ‚ walk, bike, or take the scooter
- Be less of a consumer
Creativity
- Submit! Submit! Submit! What are you afraid of?
- Three pages a day
- Keep a camera on your person at all times, and use it
Raising Hell
- Tour of Europe
Buy a motorcycle— DONE! We bought a BMW- Tour of Texas
- Motorcycle road trip
- Get tattoos touched up
