I forgot Lenny and the Squigtones

Cohort Hlavaty and I write a weekly column, He Said/She Said, where we each make lists of music on a certain topic from a male/female perspective. This week was our favorite fictional bands (my idea, which proves I’m awesome).

I didn’t count on the fact that there would be about twice as many favorite fictional bands as I’d have room for in my story. As a result, I got scolded by my friend Bob for leaving out Lenny and the Squigtones. To wit:

• The Blowholes (Little Pete’s band from “The Adventures of Pete & Pete”)
• Citizen Dick (from Singles)

Here’s Craig’s list. His is heavy on fake country, but we both have a glam band in there, for good measure.
