Sleepwalk

Recently I wondered aloud to CLH whether Herbie still plays live since his old venue, the Cosmos Cafe, is now a frat-boy bar. Not a day later I get an invite to a performance of his at the Mucky Duck, this Sunday from 6-9 p.m. I’ll be there. The ornery old guy is nearing 83 and I want to see him as much as possible before he’s lost forever.

On that note, enjoy this awesome video of one of the most awesome songs of all time. Yes, I know that’s a lap steel and not a pedal steel but the song is nonetheless quite kickass and so is Herb Remington.
