Put on some make-up. Turn on the tape deck

Times I have seen Hedwig and the Angry Inch live:
- 2002 in Oklahoma City — On a first date with someone who later devastated me.
- 2004 in Houston — At a poorly-attended production at Fitzgerald’s, with CLH, while we were dating.
- 2006 in Seoul — On New Year’s Eve eve, we stumbled upon the production on accident. It was best production I’ve seen and it was magical to hear the Koreans sing along to every single word.
- Tonight

I saw it just once – Starlight Mints did an awesome version of it in OKC. Must’ve been 2003. Is that the same one you saw? I had a date with a boring Mormon. We were in the front row. Hedwig came down and sat in my lap. It was the only action I’d get that night, but that was fine by me – Hedwig was prettier.
Was it at Stage Center? If so, that was the production I went to also, but I didn’t remember the Starlight Mints being involved.
The buffalo is lost…..

It should be fixed now. Post was set to private.
It wasn’t at Stage Center. Some little place south of town, maybe even in Norman. And now that I think of it, maybe it was The Fellowship Students who put it on. Or maybe… Jesus, getting old is a bitch. I’m absolutely positive Twenty Minutes To Vegas had nothing to do with it… Yeah, Fellowship Students. That’s the ticket. I think.
I am simply commenting to mention how much I like the Starlight Mints. The first track on their first album was the recessional for our wedding!
fucking wow. i haven’t even seen the movie. jealous.
