Thursday I am leaving for a two-week road trip through Florida, America’s Vacationland. Halfway through we’re stopping in Fort Lauderdale for The Hukilau.

Posting will be light but I’ll return with tons of photos and stories. In the meantime, I’m satisfying myself with some tiki-riffic links, like this NY Times article, about the treasure trove that lies inside the Trader Vic’s warehouse.

   No, we’re flying in and then renting a car. Driving *to* Florida would take four days (round trip) out of our vacation time.
